pilgrim >>>

I took a nap at 8:30 this morning.  That should give you some insight into my supercharged weekend, and it tells me that a finish line has been reached.  Friday evening meant something different to every graduate who walked across that stage...

...Here's what it meant to me // A grand finale to the best memories of my life (to date).  The end of my time living with girlfriends.  A shift from college athlete to fitness junkie.  The chance to build upon my education (real-world-style).  A firm hope that the joys and fulfillments that lie ahead are even greater than the ones that are now past.  [[ Maybe it's just who I am, but I see a BEGINNING for every END. ]]

I will never receive another "A", but I know I will someday wish that success could be defined with the simplicity of a letter grade.  Although, Jon is not convinced that my classroom days are over (he knows me too well).  It's hard to say if I will take more classes, what job I will end up with, or what life will look like one year from today.  That doesn't worry me because I know that I can begin making an impact this day...for the name of Jesus Christ.

It's off to the MIDWEST for one last hoorah.  This time, there is no summer school, no tennis training, but pure reflection, preparation, saturation [ Word, family, friends ].  I.AM.SO.READY.
