sticky

I now call KANSAS the eternal snowstorm.  Whether its breath-taking crystals or floating pods of cotton, bottom line is that they both stick.  I choose to embrace them both as uniquely Kansas, especially because it's my last chance to experience this humid, bipolar climate for a length of time. Now that I am a visitor instead of a resident, I am intrigued by things I once considered common. It's all part of the continual comparison that happens inside my brain.

Hey! Hutch has food trucks too! If only I could interpret the menu...

Vintage store downtown // That's one way to preach it!

Such a dashing bride // Should have waited to buy my dress!

A few vintage treasures // 7 items for $20? Slightly different from most West Coast "thrifting"

Swollen skies // Determined rides

Sky ---> Skyline // I could get use to these ratios

I've been walking in the same way as I did
And missing out the cracks in the pavement
And tutting my heel and strutting my feet
"Is there anything I can do for you dear? Is there anyone I could call?
No, and thank you, please madam, I ain't lost, just wandering"

Round my hometown, memories are fresh
Round my hometown, ooh, the people I've met
Are the wonders of my world, are the wonders of my world
Are the wonders of this world, are the wonders and now
