The Sunday.

I've been thinking some random thoughts lately.  One of those thoughts is how I should be blogging more, but the following thoughts viscously squash my aspirations.  In the past week, I have closed a big chapter of my life : tennis.  I played my last singles and doubles match this last Thursday, gave it my all one last time, & soaked up the time with my team.  It feels strange to be letting go of that title ("college athlete") and to no longer be required to practice.  From here on out, tennis is purely recreational...& that might be a good thing.

Goodbye tennis, hello finals : they exist to remind me that I should be glad I'm graduating early.  I've been pushing back those year-end projects the last couple of weeks to spend my time....

registering for the wedding...we might be 1/3 done, maybe.

or dying eggs [neon & tie-dye, color me joyful ]

or wedding planning with my family [they loved the cake!]

& the past couple of SUNDAY's have been delightful.  I absolutely loved my pastor's sermon on Easter Sunday....this blew my mind. (click here).  I can't wait until the sermon comes out on transcript & I can read through it again.

Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

2011 GOALS  // revisited & more focused

1 // Graduate college ( first things first, right? )

2 // Blog at least once a week. This site has been a broad, running timeline of my year, except that i have been skipping some of the little moments of genius and sticking to the big stuff. There is more to be said.

3 // Plunge deeper into the world of Photoshop & Illustrator. There is so much to learn, and I believe learning a skill takes you a step further than the average graduate.

4 // Make it through this planning to the biggest day of my life :: the moment when I commit my life to serving and loving this man, heart-soul-mind.
